The POWERUP FPV drone you will receive needs to update the software (Firmware) before using it.
1. Before any other action take out the SD card from the back of the drone.
2. Fully charge the battery. First, connect the airplane to a power source, then insert the battery.
3. Download the POWERUP FPV App, or update it if you have downloaded it already. The App contains a Firmware update.
4. Insert the battery into the drone to turn it on and connect it to the smartphone's WIFI network.
5. Open the App, If it was on, force stop it and open it again.
6. A popup message will ask you to update the Firmware.
7. After the file is uploaded to the drone, it will reboot. At the end of the process, the drone's LEDs will light in constant green.
DO NOT REMOVE THE BATTERY UNTIL THE FIRMWARE UPDATE IS COMPLETE!

TAKING OFF
The POWERUP FPV has two takeoff modes: Throw to fly Enabled. and Throw to Fly Disabled.
You can change the modes in the "advanced" setting in the App.
In "Throw to fly" Enabled:
1. Double tap to unlock
2. Raise the throttle to 100%
3. Throw the airplane, the G sensor will detect the throw and start the motors
In "Throw to fly" Disabled
1. Double tap to unlock
2. Raise the throttle to 100%, the motors will start spinning
3. Throw the airplane, the G sensor will detect the the autopilot will be turned on.
After you get the airplane to launch, this is how to help it stay in the air.
