A V-tail is a combination of a rudder and an elevator. The tail is construct from two wings, with 90 degrees between them, making the shape of a V, hence the name.
Ideally, with fewer surfaces than a conventional three-aerofoil tail (or a T-tail), the V-tail is lighter, and has less reduced drag.
For the PowerUp paper airplanes, a V-tail bring you, first time ever, the ability to control the pitch!
