Basic Settings
(this is not active in the Beta version)
Flight Control: Max Roll Command - this features allow you to set the maximum value of your roll command created by the roll stick (in joypad) or your head movement (in VR flight)
Values should be between 15 to 35. With the higher values the airplane will turn sharply (which aerodynamically can cause a descent). Setting lower numbers will cause a larger turning radius.
Note: This feature is not available in the Beta version! Max Roll command is set at 30.
Skin Choice - with this feature you can set the look of the joypad and VR screens skin.
Only the Skinless skin is available in the Beta Version.
Advance Settings
Airplane Name - you can change the airplane name (from PowerUp_ABCDEF) to your liking. Changes will take effect only after the next reboot. (This is not active in the Beta version).
Throw To Fly - enabling Throw To Fly is the default state. This make sure your motors will not start running before the airplane senses the forward movement (using the G sensor on board). Disabling this feature will allow you to run the motors before take off, thereby overriding the onboard G sensor.
Note: use this feature to start your motors if you get stuck on a high tree; trying to release the airplane. Be Careful if you disable it on the ground, as the propellers will turn when you open the throttle!
Stream Quality - Best Performance is for VR flight, allowing a smooth streaming, lowering the video quality to ensure that. For Gamepad flight and recording, use Best Quality.
The changes will initiate a reboot to effect this update!
Firmware Version - displays the firmware version on the airplane. By pressing this text you can see the current firmware version, the new firmware number, and the size of the file.
Press Update to update the firmware. The airplane will start the update, and start to flash alternately with orange lights. The airplane will initiate a reboot to complete the process.
Note: you may need to reconnect the Wi-Fi and re-launch the app to connect again.
Wi-Fi Settings
Wi-Fi Channel - Automatic sets the country and channel automatically, finding the best available channel. However, sometimes you want to control the exact channel and make sure the spectrum is free there. For this, choose Manual.
Wi-Fi Range is always 2.4Ghz.
Country - allows you to choose the country you are in. This will make sure you use the right channels according to your local laws.
Channel - your choices are from channel 1 to channel 14. Some states allow only 11 channels.
Channels - press here to see a graph that illustrates all the Wi-Fi sources the airplane receives. This can help you to choose a clear channel.
The current channel in use is presented below the graph.
