20 Correcting Problems - Communications

No Connection between the FPV Module and your phone before the flight

What you see:

1. The app shows “NoSig” (meaning No signal)

2. There is no live video

What you should do:

1. Kill the application

2. In your smartphone, make sure your wifi setting is on

3. Make sure your phone is connected to your POWERUP FPV module, according to the PowerUp ID number (the last six digits of the network name)

4. Make sure no other phone is locked on that airplane

5. Relaunch the application, and check for the connection

If the problem persists:

1. Switch off your cellular data (in your smartphone setting screen) and reconnect

If the problem persists:

1. Change the wifi setting (on the app) to Manual, and choose another channel

2. Reconnect.

If the problem persists:

1. Switch your smartphone to Flight Mode, to reduce any interference, and reconnect

If the problem persists:

1. Turn off your airplane and smartphone and start over, with your phone on Flight Mode

No Connection during flight

What you see:

1. The app shows “NoSig” (meaning No signal)

2. There is no live video

3. The buzzer starts to beep

4. The airplane is flying by the Autopilot; activated a self control process to land by descending in a right 20 degrees turn

What you should do:

1. Reclaim the airplane

2. Check wifi setting, to see if there is a connection; reconnect. You can stop the buzzer by pressing the Buzzer icon

3. If you can't reconnect, follow the procedure of No Connection on the ground

Note: When your battery level is under 7%, the airplane will auto land! This may seem like No Connection

Hi interferences during flight

What you see:

1. The airplane keep on disconnecting during many flights.
2. Video freezes during VR flights

What you should do:

Change WiFi Channel - 

• Go to the Wi-Fi Setting screen, and choose Manual WI FI Channels 

• Press Channels (on the bottom of the screen)
• Find a free channel

• press back, and set the new channel.

Reduce video quality - 

• Go to Setting/Advance

• Change Stream Quality to Best performance
• The airplane will reboot for the changes to take effect
