*This issue is related to some phones (Pixel phones for example) with Android with OS 6 or later.
When connecting a smartphone with an Android operation system to the POWERUP X FPV network, this message will appear after a few seconds: "WiFi has no Internet access".
This notification indicates that the device will not be able to connect to the internet with WiFi when connected to the POWERUP X FPV. Tap on the message to continue.
Now a second message will show: "This network has no internet access, Stay connected?"
- Chose "YES" to confirm and connect to the airplane. and also check the "don't ask for this net work again" this way the message will not pop up again the next time you connect to the drone and connection will be fast.
- If you chose "NO", your network will show as connected BUT but you will have NO connection to the DRONE, assuming you chose this by mistake, you will need to go back to the Wifi settings, turn Wifi off and on again to reconnect to the POWERUP network. Now wait for the notification to show and once it does check the YES box. This should fix the issue.
- If you did not do anything, the notification slide up a fte a few seconds and you wil NOT have a connection to the drone since the phone assumes you want internet communication and not Wifi. In this case you can do the following - go to your notifications and look for this box and chose "YES". If you cannot find this notification, go to settings and close your Wifi and reconnect again until the notification shows again.
* Knows phones that require this process: Google phones (Pixel, LG)
