PRIMARY ANALYSIS: The airplane does not fly fast enough to generate lift.
- The power level is too low or your batteries are weak. Increase the throttle, recharge your module.
- The plane’s angle of attack is too low. Raise the elevators slightly or make an adjustment to move the center of gravity to the rear.
- The airplane is too heavy. Increase wing size to generate more lift, verify that plane is not wet, and/or change to a thinner paper. 20 lb or 80 gsm printer paper is ideal.
- The airplane is generating too much drag. Verify that your elevators are not bent so far upwards that they are performing as air brakes. Consider lowering the elevators. Also consider sharpening the creases of your plane to reduce drag.
For best ongoing flight performance, it is recommended to bring with you a POWER BANK so you can add extra power to a weak module. Ideally taking 2 POWERUP 4.0 modules is even better this way you can charge one while you fly the other.
