Final Flight of Invader flight 1018
AnsweredMy boys (14 and 15) LOVE!!!!! their PowerUp 4.0s! I jumped on board via Indigogo as soon as I saw you project about a year ago. The package finally arrived (had actually forgotten all about it) and they couldn’t wait to get flying! All went well at first.... easy to follow folding instructions, easy to use app, easy to pair and easy to fly! First flights were with the red template invader included in box! Flew great and they loved it so much they flew until dark.... folded the waterproof invader and attached the led lights and flew great! Had to make them come in for supper so “ one more flight” was the plea.... This begins the last flight of Invader flight 1018..... last flight flew into the top of the only tree in acres! They were of course so sad that they had gotten it stuck in a tree... they went out several times during the night to look at the the bright LEDs over 50 feet up in the tree... We actually loved them so much we contributed again to your campaign and chose the double pro power pack again!! This morning on the way to school we saw the plane way up in the tree and hoped wind would blow it down.... This is where the story gets funny.... Never one to give up on a downed plane, I decided I would shoot the limb holding the plane with a Ruger 10/22.... here is a picture...

Oh, no! That's…um…not exactly funny, but…I guess, sad!
I've had to resort to flying in a nearby field, because in my neighborhood there is not quite enough room.
I've thought about tying on ~25ft of thin monofilament fishing line that could perhaps be used to retrieve the craft if it gets caught!
