PowerUP 4.0 very short control range

Hi,

I experienced a very short control range of less than 150 feet while it should have over 200 feet. I am using iPhone 8 with airplane mode on and only Bluetooth is active. I also ensured that the antenna is pointing upward to the sky. With less than 150 feet, the plane got "not connected" and landed or crashed. The Bluetooth dB easily reached over 90 and finally got disconnected.

I saw others flying their PowerUp 4.0 at ease beyond 150 feet in YouTube.

Please give me some hints!
