Saw tooth flight profile at low thrust
AnsweredAt very low thrust, the software is over reacting in compensating for nose dive. It increases and decreases thrust intermittently, causing a very restless flight profile, with nose up-down-up-down, like a saw tooth. Which tuning parameter to change here?

I found a solution myself. I combined 2 changes: I added some triangle pieces of carton within the folded plane wings of the Onslaught and I also changed the 'pitch rate kp' value from 0.45 to 0.30, decreasing the overshoot from the software. The annoying flight profile at low speed is now gone, while performance does not seem to suffer from both changes.
A cool improvement in flight control is changing the steering angle of the Onslaught from 130 to 75. It creates the opportunity to bank full throttle, creating a spiral down to quickly loose height will increase a lot of speed. When some left and right turns are done after each other, the flight is very dynamic and high speed.
